We welcomed Michael Bullen, Ed Halmagyi and Mahalia Hicks from the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW to our Merimbula oyster farm as part of the judging process for the President's Medal.

On site was our Merimbula farming team led by Matt Nutt, our CEO Devin Watson, GM Marine Operations Pip Boyton, Marketing Manager Gabrielle Cowley, HR Business Partner Lea Lehideux and our AgCareerStart participants Skyla and Lily.

The Judges took a deep dive into our business operations with a focus on our environmental, social and financial sustainability.

It was a great day - with rain, sunshine, more rain, and some spectacular oysters. Pip even made a huge call that she shucked one of the best oysters she has ever seen!!

We are stoked to have made it this far and are in great company with the other five finalists. Finalists undergo an independent review of their business model to assess their social, commercial and environmental integrity. It's this triple bottom line review that makes the President's Medal award the most unique and prestigious in the country. Read more about the President's Medal.
