PROCUREMENT MANAGER — HEAD OFFICE
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team and assume responsibility for the procurement of food grade oysters that are reflective of our brand promise of quality.
With the application of your industry leading relationship and quality standards acumen, the successful incumbent will be responsible for all food grade oyster procurement from both internal and external suppliers.
Working with your internal stakeholders across our Marine operations, processing, sales, support services functions, this role requires a strategic negotiator who can operate in a fast-moving environment and retain a high level of quality assurance and accuracy.

Job requirements include:
Applying your highly regarded industry reputation to lead the procurement of food grade oysters for the business.
Apply your procurement acumen to ensure the demonstration of optimised and consistent procurement strategies that align with AOC oyster quality standards, ensuring alignment within the parameters of estuary specific seasonality.
Deliver optimised product matching for customers.
Compliance with internal procurement policy and procedures and external legislative requirements.
Compliance with food safe and export harvest requirements, including preparation of any export documentation as required.
Undertake farm visits with AOC and external farmers to foster high standards of communication and relationships of trust and integrity that reflect AOC quality standard.
Prepare and communicate monthly, seasonal, and annual procurement quantities.
Collaborate on the annual budgeting and re-forecasting processes.
Highly regarded strategic negotiation skills
Business qualifications (advantageous)
Aquaculture industry experienced
Supply chain and procurement experience within the food safety or processing highly desirable.
Stakeholder management experience, with demonstrated highly personable and friendly communication manner that builds trustful and sustainable relationships.
Ability to prioritise, multitask and manage time efficiently, with excellent attention to detail.
Punctual and reliable coupled with a professional work ethic and willingness to learn.
Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
Aptitude in working with Microsoft Office products.
ERP experience (advantageous).
Demonstrated continuous improvement aptitude.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple departments across the organisation.
Regional NSW travel may be required, as is a current driver’s licence.
